With over 44,000 children choosing to be part of the Ford Aussie Hoops program each year, we love celebrating those who stand out!

Each term, five standout participants from across the country will be selected for the Ford Aussie Hoops All-Star 5, recognising their commitment, enthusiasm, and improvement in the program.

Each winner will receive an Australian Opals/Boomers Spalding basketball and an All-Star trophy.

Coach of the Year

We deeply value and recognise the significant time and effort invested by our volunteer coaches in ensuring the successful delivery of our program. The Ford Aussie Hoops Coach of the Year award aims to acknowledge those coaches who are committed to developing basketball skills and instilling enthusiasm in young hoopers who are engaged in the program.

The winning coach will receive a Ford Aussie Hoops Coaching Prize Pack valued at $500 and a Coaching Development opportunity in their home state with a Basketball Australia Coach Mentor.

Centre of the Month

We take pride in the vital role Ford Aussie Hoops Centres play within their communities by nurturing the growth of young athletes. The Centre of the Month recognition celebrates centres that demonstrate excellence in program delivery, player development, community engagement, coaching support, and volunteer involvement.

Each Centre of the Month recipient will receive $500 and will automatically be in the running for the Ford Aussie Hoops Centre of the Year award. The Centre of the Year will receive $5,000, national recognition, and media coverage to celebrate their outstanding contribution to the program.
